Step into the arena with The BLITZ Team, a nonprofit organization raising funds for Lupus research, and take on our Pokémon-style Gym Leader Health & Wellness Challenge! Face off against BLITZ Team "Gym Leaders" in fun, mini workout-inspired games designed for all fitness levels. Complete the challenge to earn an exclusive BLITZ Team Gym Badge (8 in total), score awesome team swag, and collect raffle tickets for epic prizes! Collect all 8 badges and take the Ultimate Challenge to become The BLITZ Master! It's high-energy, beginner friendly, and all for a powerful cause. Train hard. Battle strong. Be a hero for Lupus research.

Mission:

Our mission is for YOU to be the very best…. That you ever was!

• We dedicate ourselves during this event to help inspire YOU to stay active! Promoting your health and wellness is our way of connecting with everyone, including our friends with auto-immune illnesses like Lupus.

• Even if you just exercise 5 minutes everyday, that’s 1,825 minutes of active muscle movement every year, which will help to keep your cardiovascular health and your mental wellbeing up, boosting mood and energy levels!

How it ties into lupus:

The BLITZ Team dedicates this event to our loving angel from above, Monica.

• “If I had one thing I could have done more with Monica, that would have been to be a positive motivating factor in her life to exercise. I always think about the “what if’s”, and if I had helped her to improve her cardiovascular health, maybe she would have had a better chance.” -Aya

• Regardless of whether you suffer from an auto-immune illness or not, improving your energy levels, mental health, and cardiovascular health is ALWAYS a good thing. And that’s what we aspire to do here with our Gym Challenge!

Gym Leader Challenge Rules:

• Pick your Gym Leader based on their star level stats and exercises!

• Beginners should start from the lower star levels and work their way up!

• Once you pick your Gym Leader, THERE’S NO GOING BACK! You must defeat that Gym Leader in one of their Gym Challenge exercises, and only then will you have earned your gym badge!

• OPTIONAL: All girls are allowed a ten second head start on the guys! This includes girl gym leaders vs guy contenders.

• Additionally, a gym leader cannot be challenged twice in a row!.

• You cannot “tie” the gym leader! You have to do one more rep or last one more second depending on the exercise to truly earn your badge!

• If you LOSE, it’s okay! Just work hard and come challenge us again at our booth or panel!

• If you’re at the panel, you might just receive a swag bag (while supplies last) full of goodies, plus all challengers are guaranteed a recharge with water and electrolytes!

• Any Trainer/Challenger that earns all 8 gym badges from each gym leader will unlock the Secret Ultimate BLITZ Challenge! Complete this challenge and become the BLITZ MASTER!
